PrintSheet is a layout tool. The honest scope of what it does — and doesn’t — matters, so here it is plainly.

What this tool does

It tiles an image onto a correctly-sized printable sheet at the physical dimensions you select, rendered at 300 or 600 dpi, with optional cutting guides. The geometry is exact: a 35×45 mm photo occupies exactly 35×45 mm of the printed sheet when the output is produced at 100% scale.

What it does not do

• It does not check compliance. PrintSheet makes no judgment about whether your photo meets any country’s passport, visa or ID rules — proportions, head size, background, expression, recency and all the rest are outside its scope and outside what any layout tool can assess. Acceptance decisions belong solely to the issuing authority.
• It does not guarantee print output. The sheet file is exact, but printers, kiosks and labs can rescale, enhance or crop images. Always measure one printed photo with a ruler before relying on it; a print produced at anything other than 100% scale will not match the nominal dimensions.
• It is not affiliated with anyone. No government, passport office, consulate or photo lab endorses or is connected to this site. Rules, prices and lab policies referenced in our articles are researched in good faith but change — verify against official sources before an application deadline.
